Work on something that matters to real people
Stewardly is a small team building software used by actual homeowners associations. The work is concrete, the feedback is immediate, and there's a lot left to build.
What it's like to work here
We are a small team at an early stage. That means you will work on things that matter, see the results of your work quickly, and have real input into how the product evolves. It also means we don't have all the answers, and we'll be figuring some things out together.
We are remote-first and async by default. We write things down. We communicate clearly and don't expect anyone to be constantly available.
We believe good software is built by people who care about the people using it. HOA boards are unpaid volunteers trying to do right by their neighbors. Keeping that in mind shapes how we build.
Small team, real ownership
You will own problems, not just tasks.
Remote and async
Work where you work best. We trust adults to manage their time.
Direct customer contact
You will talk to the people using your work.
No BS hiring process
Short loop. Real work sample. Fast decision.
Open roles
Full-Stack Engineer
Help build and ship features across the stack — Next.js frontend, Node.js Lambda services, PostgreSQL on AWS RDS. You will own features end-to-end and work directly with early customers.
- Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills
- Experience with React or Next.js
- Comfortable with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, API Gateway)
- Good judgment about when to build vs. keep it simple
Customer Success
Work directly with HOA boards to help them get the most out of Stewardly. You will be their main point of contact for onboarding, questions, and feedback.
- Patient, clear written communicator
- Experience in customer success, support, or community management
- Interest in real estate, property management, or local governance a bonus
- Comfortable using cloud software and explaining it to non-technical users
Don't see the right role?
